New Product – VIGOROX 10/15

The fight against the COVID-19 continues and Chemco supports our government initiatives with new product introduction limiting the spread of the virus & helping the safety of individual in their work place and everyday life.

 

Since the announcement of the launch of our PEROX 3, we are adding today the VIGOROX 10/15 Agent Antimicrobial to this product range.

The VigorOx® 15/10 Antimicrobial Agent is a formulated peracetic acid (PAA) based solution that can function as a US EPA-registered disinfectant and accepted by Health Canada under COVID-19 interim measure

To Control Norovirus: Prepare VigorOx15/10 Antimicrobial Agent disinfecting solution by adding 3.0 fluid ounces (89 ml) of the product to 5 gallons (19 litre) of potable water. This will provide 800 ppm peroxyacetic acid and 530 ppm hydrogen peroxide. For visibly soiled surfaces, remove filth from surfaces to be disinfected by cleaning with a detergent or suitable cleaning product. Rinse with clean water.  To disinfect, apply VigorOx15/10 Antimicrobial Agent by wiping, mopping, or as a coarse spray. Allow to soak for at least 5 minutes, then air dry.

Peroxyde 3% supply

Dear Valued Customers and Partners,

 

With the current health crisis affecting our everyday life and short supply on some cleaner & disinfectant, CHEMCO has converted part of its production capacity to the manufacture of a hard surface cleaner based on hydrogen peroxide. The product is called PEROX 3 and has a 3% hydrogen peroxide active concentration.

 

In order to determine the contact times needed to clean the target surfaces, we direct you the web link below that suggest the inactivation of the virus in 60 seconds during contact with peroxide 0.5% hydrogen. Notice of appointment – New CEO

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Frédéric Dessureault as Chief Executive Officer of Chemco and ChemR.

Frédéric has started his career with Chemco in 2001 as a production operator when he was still studying. In 2004, he joined the sales team as a representative. He was subsequently promoted to a management role as Assistant Vice President in 2006. During this period, one of his key accomplishments was the launching of the new ferric sulphate plant, which has proved to be a landmark event in the organization’s history. Since 2010, Frédéric has served as Vice President and was primarily involved in sales and business development for the organization. One of his main fullfillments was setting up a new division in the aircraft de-icing industry. During this period, Frédéric succeeded, among others, in building a high quality team and demonstrated excellent management and leadership skills. There is no doubt that the experience gained over the last few years will greatly contribute to the success of the organization.

We are pleased to announce that Charles Lamontagne, PhD will be joining Chemco as Technical Application Specialist.   His graduated research having touched applied Biochemistry and Biophysics, Charles will be assisting our customers in their efforts to remediate their soils and groundwater using enhanced bioremediation mechanism and the other Chemco technologies.

With 25 years of experience in the chemical manufacturing industry, Chemco is breaking new ground with his deicing fluids for aircrafts. This new division is called “ChemR Deicing Products”. Our fully automated production line was launched in 2014 and operates at the Chemco facility in Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, QC. We supply two types of aircraft deicing fluids used in Canadian airports, which are the TYPE 1 and TYPE 4.
